Our love of nature grew significantly in 2013 while volunteering for the Master Naturalists. It was through this program we learned how to identify many different types of species, as well as initiate studies to help the state enforce different measures to care for our native lands. It was later that year that our herbal and wildlife forestry certifications were official. Coming from the same birthplace as the sacred bison in Medicine Park, our foundations were brought upon listening to the land and learning how to respond synergistically.

Jonathon, a Manistee, Michigan native, and Rebecca, a Texoma native, found a new home in the deserts of Arizona. Executing the challenge of finding plant life in this climate became a pastime. While teaching herbal classes at a wellness center in Sun City, it became apparent that we have to share the goodness of Mother Earth. Many of our patients experienced accumulative pain over the years and doubting they would ever find relief resulted in a look of stoicism to encounter their day-to-day tasks. Through knowledge, appreciation, and going back to basics, we have found our calling here in the forest of Manistee, MI. We feel most at home in the lush green forests or next to the blue water of Lake Michigan.
here to share holistic approaches to your vitality, in its many forms.
Rebecca's Choctaw roots have created a reciprocal relationship with the land, tending to it like a wild garden. Striving to keep a low ecological footprint, we use locally grown and/or harvested ingredients. We selectively choose plants that grow around us and carefully harvest them using sustainable methods. We welcome you to connect with us by enhancing your relationship with the land through our herbal rituals and offerings.
